Your journey begins in Bayahibe, leaving the standard routes behind as you explore the natural beauty surrounding Saona Island with a local guide who knows these waters well.
The adventure takes you beyond the usual stops — through calm coastal waters, mangrove forests, and natural pools where you can slow down, swim, and experience the incredible ecosystems that make this part of the Dominican Republic so unique.
Along the way, you’ll search for marine life, explore quieter corners of the coastline, and see a side of the island that most visitors miss when they rush from one crowded stop to the next.
Then, the journey continues to Saona.
Enjoy the beauty that made this island famous, with time to relax on the beach, share a fresh island lunch, and take in the Caribbean atmosphere before continuing your adventure.
From there, you’ll make your way to Palmilla, a legendary natural pool surrounded by endless blue water — the perfect place to float, explore, and appreciate the landscape one last time before heading back.
As the afternoon fades, you’ll return across the water with a deeper connection to the island — not just having visited Saona, but having experienced it.
